USA TODAY Reports on Alli
USA Today came out with reports about the latest weight loss pill in the market. Alli, read as “ally”, is the first FDA approved over-the-counter drug that prevents the fat from being absorbed in the intestines.
Alli is intended to help overweight adults aged 18 and above to lose extra pounds by preventing about 25% of excess fat from being absorbed. The excess fat is flushed away.
According to Nanci Hellmich, the Life section reporter of USA Today, experts have said that Alli is not some sort of a quick fix or a “magic bullet” that can take the place of frequent dieting and regular exercise.
A lot of dieters have said that the medication is keeping them from cheating through a diet. Those who eat too much fatty foods will feel an urgent need to rush to the bathroom due to the gas, oily discharge and loose stools being released almost instantly, and most of the time without warning.
To go along with the drug, users must combine a reduced-fat diet and continual exercise for the medicine to really work its magic. Users must also read the instructions that come with the drug and be prepared to embrace a healthier lifestyle.
