Dongle Gets a Fashion Makeover
The good old regular USB sticks now get a fashion makeover. Due to a recent collaboration initiative of O2 and House of Holland, dongles have become a fashion accessory, with designer Henry Holland giving the USB casing a fashionable look.
Henry Holland, just 25 years old, is the owner of the famous fashion label House of Holland. In 2007, he launched a range of Frankie says- style slogan t-shirts which became extremely popular. A shift from working on 80’s fashions, he is these days busy with making mobile broadband fashionable.
The limited edition designer dongles that will be available from 27 February have a black and white polka dot casing with the House of Holland logo in blue. Hence, it is rightly labelled as “this season’s must have accessory”. The dongle will be available only for a limited period of time with O2 mobile broadband pay as you go deals only.
This seems to be a rare occasion where technology has taken a step towards fashion and fashion has taken a step towards technology. Hopefully, we will see more great looking gadgets coming out of this partnership.
